Join us for a talk by author Rusty Williams. He will be talking about his latest book Texas Loud, Proud, and Brash — How Ten Mavericks Created the Twentieth- Century Lone Star State. The book covers ten unique Texans, people who through their accomplishments,actions, and words gained national attention between 1925 and1950.These individuals painted an indelible picture of the Lone Star State that continues to percolate throughout the nation’s popular culture today. Admission to the program is free for museum members; otherwise there will be a general admission charge of $8 adults, $6 seniors/veterans/college students and $3 6-18 yr. olds.
