Join us as Cedric Dean talks about the Greenville Legacy Awards program which was founded by Curtis Traylor in 2018 and honors local members of the black community. Mr. Dean is a native of Greenville. After graduating from Greenville HS in 1994 he joined the US Air Force and was deployed to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey and Cairo, Egypt. Mr. Dean has helped with many organizations in the community. He is the Founder and President of the National Congress of Black Men, an independent member’s organization for economic upliftment and empowerment. He currently works at L3 Harris and has served as a City Council member for district 6. This month’s sponsor is Roselyn Lane.
