Join us as Dr. Mark Rudin talks about Strategic Planning at Texas A&M University-Commerce. Dr. Rudin became President of the University in 2018 and has a Bachelor of General Health Science, Master of Science in Health Physics and a Doctor of Philosophy in Medicinal Chemistry with a Concentration in Health Physics from Purdue University.
Dr. Rudin’s educational career began at Idaho State University where he was an instructor in the Department of Health Physics. He went on to become the Interim Vice-President for Research and Graduate Dean at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas as well as the Vice President for Research and Economic Development at Boise State University. Student success, expanded research and economic development are among Dr. Rudin’s top priorities as President of TAMUC. His vision for the college includes adapting traditional models to meet the needs of all students and providing skills development in preparation for post-graduation employment. The program will take place in the cotton portion of the museum to allow for better social distancing. Seating will be limited. Admission is free for museum members; otherwise there will be general admission of $6 adults, $4 seniors/veterans/college students and $2 6-18 yr. olds.
